Bakau Yang Sepi.

Last night was a total blast. Although I was at the backstage being part of the crew, I did totally enjoyed the entire performance and I must say it was different from any other show that I've seen as there were so many surprises like the paint splash on set. Some part did moved me and some part just gave me goosebumps. I miss those Saturdays with them and I totally do miss being part of them.

The show was to bring a message to each one of us that we should not forget about the past. Changes are good and constant however gravity never forgets to pull us back to the ground whenever we get too high. According to Azmi Juhari, he is disheartened seeing how westernization has trivialized the moral and social conduct of the Malay society today. It is with high hopes that he brings forth these issues through his choreography. And certainly he did last night. (Credit to Nad bms.)

Well, Azpirasian, you guys do rock everyone socks last night, let it be to those who thought Bakau (mangrove swamp) is a zombie or whatever, I think they overall did get the message of the dance. To those who was not able to catch it, it was just too bad, I'm sure you guys will be moved as I did. I'm just happy for all my talented friends, I just wish I have it too, but too bad..
This feet of mine been wanting dance but it's so hard for me get commit.

Anyway, I'm glad that I've finally get it done. After so many changes within 3 conservative days finally, it's all done. Now I'm hoping that I was not a finalist. This is the competition that I'm not confident at doing. Maybe I was being ambitious about doing this but somehow, I feel proud that I came out with something.

The competition is creating a plated dessert using California Raisins. And what I did is Raisin Risotto Pudding(on the right) and a light raisin cake(left) with raspberry reduction. There have been many critics than compliments from my chefs, but I think I've done my best and it's okay if I don't get into the finals.

Well till here.
