Paris

Paris was not what I expected it to be. I was welcomed by beggars and their dirty streets. I felt really uncomfortable and insecure the whole time there and I wish I didn't go there. Our train were two hours earlier than the rest so we had to wait for them before heading to the hotel. We went to macdonald to wait for them and when we entered, almost every eyes in there stared at eyes as if we were clowns. And what's even worst is the serviced of the manager herself was really rude!

When the rest finally arrive, we took the metro to our hotel. I totally forget about the carefreeness of the people here, so when this lady walk infront of us followed by a huge dog behind her, everyone of us started to like bitch about her. In Paris, dogs are allowed everywhere you go, they could even ride the metro and walk around in the shopping mall. So that's explain why Paris stinks! So when we finally got to Novotel Paris, we put our bags and rested for a while before heading out to walk in Paris.

We cab from the hotel to the Cathédrale
Notre Dame de Paris. It looks very authentic.

After snapping some group pics we were all famished, so we walked and try to find something to eat. The sky was very clear with traces of soft clouds above and you could even see the air traffic from above.

Then we found this bistro called Brioche Dorèe. I had a tuna brioche with Framboise tart for dessert and I must say it's so good! The sourness of the Framboise and the sweetness of pastry cream just blend so well.

Then we walked again down the stinky street of Paris towards Gallery LaFayette. There, the ladies gone crazy shopping for Longchamp bags. They keep telling me thats like the new 'In-Thing' in Singapore right now. So, I got mum one and one of my aunt bought 4 bags! After some painstaking period of waiting, we finally cabbed to the Eiffel Tower.

The tower itself look very majestic and it feels so surreal to be standing at the bottom of it. I was speechless and took some moment looking at it's appealing structure. Somehow I got distracted half way by the cold wind blowing and suddenly I was shivering. Then we got ourself tickets to the 2nd floor of the tower and when the lift door opens, the wind quickly got into my bone and everytime I try to snap a picture, it turn out blur because my hand couldn't be still.

We were up for about 20 minute and gone down fast because it was so cold! We cabbed back to the hotel and rest for an early morning tomorrow to DISNEYLAND!
So, my thought about Paris is, Paris would be nothing if it wasn't for thier beautiful and historical building. It would probably be a stinky streets with dog poos and pees everywhere. The service provided to us was cold and harsh and they even try not to speak english even when they know how to. Also, they're not tourist friendly either because everything there are all in French. The public toilet was worst, you have to pay at least one Euro to enter and the next thing you know, you are entering to an appalling room. Beggars, thrash, the over pungent smelling dog pee everywhere was all about Paris. It was a bad first time and that would be my first and the last time I'm stepping my foot there and you would probably have to drag me if you want me to go there the next time.
