Day 6 So as said, it's a day to the beach!! I wanted to go to Laguna or Newport Beach but mum said that she had done her research and finds Huntington's better. Took a cab from our place down to the beach and i can sense that mum was feeling uneasy about the meter fare of the cab, imagine it increases 65 cents on every 1/4 mile.. haa! It's chilly when we reached there, and as expected, the ladies were in bikinis and the guys were in their boardshort walking everywhere. I got to say that i envy the dude there for having those well toned bodies.. i wished!! So, the first thing we got there, we headed down to the pier and it's the coolest place i ever been too, imagine standing above the pacific ocean water! haa.. okok, not gonna blabber much, here are some of the pics taken.. That's the pier, and it's super huge and long.. 3 time bigger than bedok jetty!  And of course you can see loads of surfers dude, it's cool to watch them ride the waves  i was surprise to see some dudes there skimming. i mean why would you skim when there's bigger waves for you to surf. but anyway, they played it way better than the mat's in singapore yaw..  see that wave, i felt so tempted to get into it and just swim around, but too bad i didn't bring any towels or extra undies..  Just me, feeling2 cool.. haa!  that's parent at the diners!  we had this scrumptios crispy seafood combo at the diners recommended by the waitress and she was kind enough to top up our coke and coffee.  so after lunch, we head back home. mum can't stand the cold breeze that kept blowing and guess what, we didnt took a cab back but instead we took the public bus and got lost for 3 hours in the middle of santa ana till i gave up, got pissed and force mum to call the cab! and oh boy, how glad when i could finally bump down on the bed and rest. The scent of the perfume is very alluring and seductive if u passed by the shop and of course i got to oogle on Adriana Lima poster! haaa..Day 7 Mum decide to get back to the mall to do some last minute shopping and most of the time spend were at Victoria Secrets. Mum got crazy as usual..! and and and and and and and.. i got another pair of Nike sneakers again! so total, i have 4 right now and i'm scrathing my head thinking how i'm bringing them back to singapore! errr...  and i dip myself into the pool to ease myself before flying back tomorrow  the luggage is all packed up and i'm kinda worry that it might just explode or tear open anytime, dad squeezes all the things i bought into my tiny luggage. well, blame me for bringing loads of cloths! haa.. so i'm all gear up to come back home but i'm gonna miss LA for sure.. especially Disneyland! Well, mum already planning to come to visit LA again next year during winter and i'm just hoping that will be the time i end my attachment and before i enter NS. haa! well, see you guys back in singapore yaw.. |
