and finally, the competition is over.
the finals on wednesday was effing nerve wrecking!
you bet, i was saying my prayers on my journey to school. but my interview didnt went that well because i couldnt get what are the question asked as the three judges were italian and their accent is super thick!! so i couldnt catch any balls but i tried to answer as best as i could.
and then the result was announced right after the interview!! so yea..
i got the 2nd prize. 2 weeks attachment at Garibaldi, Singapore's top restaurant. but anyhow, i'm truely grateful and thankful with i got rather than nothing although i didnt win the best prize which is to italy. Alhamdullilah.

then in the evening just now, all the finalist were invited to attend a cocktail party at shatec's very own hotel, Sha Villa. and most of the guest who turns out are the rich and famous. people from grand hyatt and some other well established hotels and also some chefs. so yea, great opportunity to advertise ourselve when we go for our interview for attachment at their restaurant. great food, there's wine, pork, cheese, pasta, risotto and many more! but of course i didnt drink the wine and eat the pork! so below are some pictures.

it was a great experience and what's best is, it makes my resume shines! heehee.. maybe this could bring me to Fullerton for my attachment in july.. hope so! and what's important, i've done my parents proud and i'm so grateful to Allah for answering my prayer!! wee...
