hello everyone!
my first ever post for 2008, yayness!!

ok so lets talk about yesterday, school.
i thought that it's really suck to have school on new year eve seriously!! why can't they start after new year?! ergh.. so went to school restaurant, Charcoal at city hall with schoolmates. it was nerve wrecking indeed as its a new environment for me to study in. i was attached to that restaurant along with some of my friends to study and experience the real world of culinary. so we were thought of how to prepare the menu for Charcoal offers and experience how the real kitchen environment operate. well, as i had work at Fish & Co. before, things is easy and i'm able to adapt things quickly.

I thought that on the first day, there'll be only some briefing or some short lesson but the new lecturer told us that we'll be off latest by 10.30pm, and i had nothing to comment about that! so i'm in charge of the appetisers this whole weel with one of my friend. things is relaxing and boring for us. appetisers are the simplest and quickest things to do, so there's barely any orders for us to prepare. but i had fun! and after the last order at 9.30pm, we had to do closing (the suckest part!) which is to clean the whole kitchen!!

supposely to be at daniel crib for the countdown party but i'm late for it so, since i was at town area, i thought of just hanging out around there and catch the firework instead. the azpirasian wanted to go marina bay to play bowling after catching the firework so i joined them instead.

when i met them, some misunderstanding happen and i hate when things like this happens on new year but things went ok. so we were hanging around raffles link to catch the firework but before that, cam whoring! haa.. classic..

there were a gazilion of humans aroung us! and the firework was magnificent.. after the firework, we head to the carpark and head down to marina bay. well, guess what, we were stuck in the carpark for effing one and half hour as the were some congestion. so to kill boredom, we blast the radio with some old song and cam whore again!!

and when finally we got out from the stupid carpark, we got on the road! this time, they got even more maniac.. they wind their window down and went shouting at banglas and calling them 'baya' all the way to marina bay! super crazy but super hilarious! haahaa...
so when we got to marina bay, we realised that the bowling alley had shut down. but that didnt stop us to cam whore still.. haa!

so we sat and thinking where to go next. after some suggestion, we head down to siglap for a nice supper! and there, i was starting to get sleepy.. the time at my watch was showing, 3.25am and we were planning where to head down next. so the next stop was changi.

i didnt snap any pictures after that. so first, we head down to a barren area of the airport runway, then to changi ferry point and then a walk to the creepy old commando building. it's my first time visiting such creepy building. it was huge and dark. so we went in and had our phone light as a guide. it's really really eerie. i'm a mouse when come to creepy stuff! haa..

so after that we head down to pasir ris park with the thought of catching the sunrise. all if us were on daze and lethargic. it was 5am in the morning and the sunrise is still far and i was able to catch a short nap. but we didnt exactly catch it cox we were too tired to open our eyes. so we drove back home. i reached home at 6.30am and bump to bed to 5.30pm today.. haa...

did nothing much of the brand new day of the new year. watched some tv and then here i am blogging.. tomorrow another day at the restaurant. argh.. why can't i be place in the morning shift instead... damn.. anyhow, to all of you, have a great 2008! (:
