it was pretty much indeed a lazy weekend for me this week. with school starting this monday and new year this tuesday, time flies fast. and yea, tmr is my last day at work, woohoo!! so, mum had asked me along to the family brunch at kampong melayu to remember our late ancestor which is my GREAT, GREAT, GREAT, GREAT grandfather.

so when i reached the entrance of the hall, it was decorated elegantly as if i was about to enter someone wedding ceremony. and there's load of people in there, and the people in there are actually my aunt, uncle and cousin. seriously, i have no idea we were related and if we were to bump onto each other on the street, i swore i won't know we're related!

anyhow, it was fun, catching up and also entertain by the special invited guess, veterans of jalan ampas actress and actor, like wahid satay and lela manja to enlightened the event. and there were even lucky draws! haa.. coolness.. so below are some pictures taken..

Haji Abdul Sanat Shukor, that's my GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT grandfather name also known as Wak Ketok. mum told me that he was an artist who drew caricatures for the singapore newspaper back in the 50's to 70's. and he's caricatures are drawn to amuse people and also have meaning in it. he's really great indeed.

and he'll be always in remembrance of my family. (:
