it's been sometime since i blog. so, let me share about my first week in school in this post.. well, school starts on the day after my sister wedding. and you bet, i was damn beat from it. so i went to school with my new friend, Nicholas. it was a long journey from sengkang to bukit batok okay.. and i felt relieved when the timetable had change. only on certain days that my class end at 8. and on certain days, class ends as early as 3.30pm. and if the teacher are kind enough or finish teaching the chapter fast, class will end earlier. so far, i'm enjoing my time there. it's really a wish come true to enter the kitchen there. and i'm glad that i've made some friends there too.. i think that i'm the only guy who's looking forward for every english class. it's like the english worksheet the teacher gave us is like so sec 1 and 2 stuff. not only it's easy, but it's interesting too.. we were taught the basic of english language again and i never find it boring. there this subject, principle of western cooking and food subject that uses italian and french in some terms. and it's kinda cool to learn but at the same time hard to know and pronounce the word. and i can never run away from science because one of the subject that i study is food science and it's all about bacteria and a lil bit of bio!! and also, there's this interesting test. it's called the 'mystery basket', it's like iron chef but a lil different. they'll put different types of ingredient like example chicken, carrot or seafood. and then we have to put our hand in and pick something from the basket. and if i pick say example a chicken, i have to make a recipe of my own. i thought it was super awesome and i like how the test will be done.. and on saturday during break time. some of the student in hotel management had organize a lunch as part of their training. i thought of trying it, so i book at table for 4. i had chicken salad for appetizer, a mocktail, and buttered rice with lamb curry for main course. and i had to pay only 3 buck for all of that and that's the price i've to pay for a mee rebus at west mall food court.. the portion was quiet big, and the service was near excellence. it was so worth it and i wish to go for more lunch in school if there's more of this than in the food court! so, tomorrow if the first practical which is cutting vegetables.. and i'm looking forward to it!! well, school is something to be look forward now.. and there's loads of thing been going on lately. like cousin gathering.. sister birthday celebration.. and i'm back for dance training.. also, i've watch harry potter and i rate it 3/5.. many have ask me, what's the feeling of having a brother in law. and my answer is, yeah i'm contented because it's been my wish to have an older brother. and sister and her hubby is getting ready for their honey moon to maldive this wednesday. i'm so freaking jealous when they've booked a water suite at one of the resort there! anyway, i'm just happy for them. (: well, pictures will be upload when i get my lappy somewhere next month i hope. and speaking of next month, my mind is confuse with my birthday planning. err.. it's my 18 birthday and i want a nice and decent celebration. no more mac donald like last year!! lol.. oaite, gotta turn in now.. solehin. |
