just came back from orientation. woke up kinda early just now. took 161 to woodland and mrt to bukit batok. the journey was like super long la, 40 min!!! ergh.. when i entered the building, there i see many chef hopefuls.. haha! i registered myself and stood one corner. i browsed through the file that was given to me and i realize that my course had 2 classes and i was in the B class. then a lady guided us to our classroom. while waiting for the tutor to arrive, we had the secondary school way of introduction. when it was my turn to introduce myself, i realize i spoke so fast, but i don't care if they heard it or not. and instead of saying, 'hi my name is Amer..' i said, 'Hi, my name is Solehin..' but ironically my name tag was printed as 'M. Amer'. but its okay.. i want people to call me solehin becuase some people will just call me armor or some weird names instead of amer.. we're suppose to make some friends and it's not that i'm anti social or what but i was shy okay! i felt awkward by just sitting down and not talking to the neighboring people around me but what i did was just smile to them. then we had a briefing by one of the lecturer and it was kinda boring i thought and then we were guided by 2 ladies to tour around the school. i so love the kitchen! we were brought to the back of the building and i thought it was funny that SHATEC has drew a yellow box at the back of the school specially for smokers and there is not a handful of them but most of them smoke's. and i wonder how they gonna stand at that pathetic box and smoke together. hurhur! and when i browse through the file again i realized that my lesson starts as early as 8am in the morning and end as late at 8pm. ergh..!! the lecturer said we have to get use to this timing as when we are in the real industry it'll be more treacherous. i did made some friends but not with the Malay's people but with the Chinese guy instead. i don't know why but i feel that i'm comfortable with other races than my own. i only knew 2 of them and one of them is like so super outspoken and he reminded me of wei hoong character but, i don't mind.. i'm used to it by now i guess.. haa! they had prepared for us some refreshment but i only had a drink. again, i was shy! haa.. then they lead us to purchase out uniform but i only paid for my locker rental and safety boot. i thought maybe next week i'll get my uniform with dad instead. i think i'm ready for school. still traumatized by the timetable i got, but i guess i'll get use to it. mum's not cooking for today, so i guess, i'll cook something for the people at home.. and people, Global Warming and Global Climatic Change is happening...!! solehin. let's play pretend.
